In this role, the secretary joined MassWildlife for a prescribed burn on April 8 at the Birch Hill Wildlife Management Area. This habitat management practice benefits wildlife, can enhance firefighter and public safety, and improves outdoor recreational opportunities for Commonwealth citizens and visitors.
