How Brooklyn neighbors are selling each other clean energy

Businesses and residents in Brooklyn are taking an innovative approach to clean energy. The project, called the Brooklyn Microgrid, allows members to trade their excess energy from solar panels to other members of the project. 

Currently, the peer-to-peer trading system only has 50 members, however the project provides a fresh approach to meeting clean energy demand within small communities.
