Linking Science with Climate Policy & Decision-Making - Professor Noelle Eckley Selin

    Description

How can we motivate countries to reduce emissions?  In this video, MIT’s Associate Professor Noelle Eckley Selin provides solutions for encouraging climate policies globally.

Professor Selin suggests that one way of convincing nations to enact climate policies is through perceived health benefits from the reduction of air pollutions.

She explores the way global policies can utilize penalties to encourage nations such as the US to reduce CO2 emissions.
