Cleaning up the air we breathe might actually be making droughts worse

In the journey to better understand climate change, scientists have recently discovered that air pollution may be mollifying the impact of greenhouse gases on droughts. In this article James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, shares the findings of researchers from NASA, Columbia University, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, on the correlation between atmospheric aerosols and drought prevalence.
