China has slashed clean energy funding by 39%, leading a global decline

A BloombergNEF survey has found that global investments in clean energy sources have declined to their lowest levels in six years, even as greater investments in renewables are urgently needed to decarbonize the global economy. In this article, James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, breaks down the biggest contributors to the decline.
