Designer, innovator, developing design solutions that improve the human condition and restore the planet profitably. Grew up in a small town in Romania under the communist regime of the 70s and 80s in an environment of shortages where people found creative solutions to both administrative and technological challenges. Thanks to inventiveness and cooperation people were able to solve numerous problems from making their own car parts to finding arrangements with the totalitarian authorities for situations that on the surface did not seem solvable. This had a strong influence on my approach in finding solutions against limited and apparently non-feasible possibilities.

Holistic Community Design Model – Masters thesis- Maximizing the benefits of attention restoration theory and defensible space theory in urban design https://library.the-bac.edu/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=70723 Urban design model to mimic the growth of cells in an organism where each additional cell (i.e. community) has minimal negative impact on the organism (city) as a whole; exponential benefits form reducing urban heat to preparation for floods, improved mental and physical health, less segregation by income and more. Scenario for the future of cities - sustainable, higher quality of life, lower costs. Semi-finalist – MIT CoLab competition - https://www.climatecolab.org/contests/2018/circular-economy-economie-ci…

Comprehensive project in Masters program in DESIGN FOR HUMAN HEALTH at the Boston Architectural College, 2016: World Civic Center concept – applying lessons from neuroscience to maximize restorative experiences in landscape and architectural design. Concept for attracting the global citizenry around a common story via a physical space/city that provides a focal point of unity, and pilgrimage - a means to address the most pressing problems of humanity and the planet, and especially a place for restorative experiences. Combination of design features - symbolisms of the human experience, the beauty and fragility of the planet, our place in the natural world as well as in time and space.
