Maryland State Climate Initiative

On October 1, 2018, a group of MIT alumni in Maryland sent an Open Letter on climate change to State leaders signed by more than 100. The group also provided background information on climate change and its effects on the State, which is particularly vulnerable because of its long coastline. Statements of support  were received from many of Maryland's elected officials, including a majority of its representatives to the US Senate and Congress, and key State Delegates and Senators.
