Jan 24th Info Session - Summer Internships in Washington DC

The MIT Washington Summer Internship Program provides technically sophisticated undergraduates the opportunity to apply their scientific and technical training to public policy issues. The core of the program is focused on the summer months, when students receive paid internships in the offices of government agencies, the private sector, and advocacy groups in Washington DC. In addition to the summer internships, students who participate in the program are required to go on a trip to DC during spring break and a take a 12 unit HASS seminar on policymaking that meets before and after the summer internship.

Past summer interns have worked in the White House Office of Science & Technology, the US House of Representatives Science Committee, the US Department of Energy, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, NASA and more!

To learn more, come to a dinner and final information session on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 pm in W20-306.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2019. For more information, email to Tobie at iguanatw@mit.edu, or check out the following website: http://web.mit.edu/summerwash/
