This J-WAFS spinout is gaining national attention for their innovative mechanism to detect heavy metal water pollutants

The SEPSAT water testing wands developed by an MIT  research team

Collecting water samples to test for heavy metals can be cumbersome but Emily Hanhauser of MIT is simplifying the process. Their research, initially supported by a J-WAFS seed grant has yielded the low-cost, wand-like SEPSTAT system which could enable widespread accessible water testing. Read more here.
