Climate change means the US must start building big things again

Policy decisions and many opportunities for obstruction and delay have made it excruciatingly hard to build new infrastructure in almost every jurisdiction in the U.S. That's a terrible dynamic, writes James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, if we want to update our buildings, transit systems and energy grid to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
