Startups looking to suck CO2 from the air are suddenly luring big bucks

With the dangers of climate change known among the scientific community, researchers are turning their attention to improving the process of atmospheric carbon dioxide removal. As this process becomes better understood, specifically in the sense of how much these projects will cost, startups focused on capturing CO2 are seeing increased interest and funding. In this article James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, sheds light on this rising technology and the startups hoping to enlist it to combat the climate crisis.
