Microsoft will invest $1 billion into carbon reduction and removal technologies

Microsoft plans to establish a $1 billion fund dedicated to “carbon reduction, capture, and removal technologies,” reports James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy. The investment aims to offset all emissions Microsoft has produced since its founding in 1975.
