Martin Weitzman: Why is the economics of climate change so difficult and controversial?

The MIT UEA will be hosting a lecture by Professor Martin Weitzman of Harvard University on March 7th from 4-5:30 in 3-370. Professor Weitzman is an economist who focuses on environmental economics, specifically looking at climate change and environmental catastrophes. He will be providing a fast-paced crash course on what exactly makes the economics of climate change so controversial and intellectually challenging.
