How artificial intelligence is helping farmers and babies in the developing world

Artificial intelligence (AI) has found itself a useful tool in assisting the human race. Businesses and nonprofits are learning how to best incorporate AI into their work to meet the needs of the individuals they serve. In his article, James Temple, MIT Technology Review's senior editor for energy, explores how AI is benefitting farmers of India, Kenya, and South Africa, as well as helping reduce the mortality rate among newborns with low birth weight in India.
