The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe honored a number of MIT faculty and alumni in their Tech Power Players 50, a list of the “most influential – and interesting – people in the Massachusetts technology scene.” MIT honorees included Professor Yet-Ming Chiang, Professor Tom Leighton, Professor Silvio Micali, Katie Rae, CEO and managing partner for The Engine, Professor Daniela Rus, director of CSAIL and deputy dean of research for the Schwarzman College of Computing, and Senior Lecturer Brian Halligan. Alumni featured on the list include, Colin Angle ’89, SM ’90, Tye Brady SM ’99, Joy Buolamwini SM ’17, PhD ’22, Helen Greiner ’89, ’SM ’90, Jason Kelly ’03, PhD ’08, Stefania Mallett ’76, SM ’77, Mariana Matus PhD ’18, Bob Mumgaard SM ’15, PhD ’15, Emily Reichert MBA ’12, Tim Rowe MBA ‘95, Marc Raibert PhD ’77, Carmichael Roberts MBA ’00, Dharmesh Shah SM ’06, and Reshma Shetty PhD ’08.
