Mina is the founder of The Cosmos And Beyond and CosmoX. In 2017, he was selected from an outstanding pool of applicants to attend the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2017 (Class 5) — where he developed his startup, CosmoX.
CosmoX is an aerospace company that will offer environmental management, disaster management, and GEOINT services. Takla’s long-term goal for CosmoX is to ultimately help researchers and decision makers make new discoveries, save and improve lives around the globe, and even support humanity’s long-term visions of venturing out to deep-space, saving the planet from hazardous asteroids & mining valuable ones, navigating new worlds, and establishing human-settlements on other planets. CosmoX will help hundreds of thousands of scientists discover more about the Earth and about the cosmos; as well as to expand the global space economy and to engage billions of people around the globe in R&D, giving them a unique opportunity to make the world a safer and a more sustainable place.
Mina also cares about space outreach and STEAM education. In 2015, he founded The Cosmos And Beyond, which publishes comprehensive articles, written and curated for public consumption. The CAB brings its readers the latest, most pressing, and highly debated scientific, social, and technical challenges facing our human societies. The CAB’s goal is to educate, engage, and involve the general public in STEAM, empowering individuals to make evidence-based decisions & scientific discoveries, disrupt current industries, create new markets, and tackle the world’s biggest problems.
