Buildings, Energy Efficiency, & Climate Change
DUSP Climate would like to invite you to the kick-off for our spring lecture series on climate change. This Friday, March 8th, in 10-485 we will welcome Cristoph Reinhart to join us for a conversation about Buildings, Energy Efficiency, & Climate Change from 12:30 to 2 (lunch will be served!).
Cristoph is the Director of the Building Technology Program, Group Head of the Sustainable Design Lab, and a Professor in the Department of Architecture. He will be discussing the usage of Environmental Urban Performance Analysis to address climate change, focusing on the implementation of energy efficiency measures in buildings. Following a short presentation, we will engage in a discussion about using this type of analysis in DUSP - or more broadly at MIT - to help us advocate for more climate-friendly practices within the department.
